Don't buy a gen 1 997 GT3 for track use .
Then you are better off with a gen 2 996 GT3 , cheaper so more budget for track mods . And it is as fast as a gen 1 997 GT3 .

A gen 2 997 GT3 is the best choice but they are still expensive .

, and the 997 will look better on his path- be it gen 1 or 2.

Daz does the occasional trackday and ring trips so the 997 gen1 will be ample for his requirements.

Go the whole hog Daz and get the GT3 RS. You know you want to and if you have a Misses you will not be able to hear her over the engine noise at speed
