First Ring Video of 2013
http://youtu.be/wnkY91hfYy0
Just got back from a weeks trip to the ring and Spa, car was great weather not so, very cold, still snow about but a good laugh and good to catch up with Grant again (need for speed) Not the fastest lap but a good first outing for the Super Sports I think they are great tires, not up to cups but way better than PS2's. Plus it was hard to commit more with snow catching your eye at the side of the track! Spa was very wet and as soon as a hint of a dry line was appearing it would rain again so no records broken there. lol Cheers Ando

Good stuff, I was out Easter weekend so know how daunting it was doing 100mph+ with snow either side of you!

Hi Ando,
I can hear it grounding it on the compressions - pourquoi? Ride height too low? Spacers? 9.5s on front?

"Springtime in Germany" low sun and lots of glare about and on road tyres, nice one Ando. What did you use to film it Go-Pro?

I enjoyed that Ando
the new tarmac at the left 100mph+ kink after the karrusell - has it got rid of the little bump that has chucked a few off?? Quote:
I thought I heard this too? I am guessing soft road settings on intrax?

I agree with Graham. I had a 'moment' at the DN7 event where the rear wheels span up on some ice at over 90mph. Luckily, I'm so inept that the car just righted itself before I could apply any hamfisted input. Not ideal conditions.
Anyway, here's another video of me in the E36 track slag chasing my mate in his chipped Focus RS: |

Yep it bottomed out a few times, I put it down to being a bit softer and the extra 3mm of tread you get on Super Sports. lol Standard rims on the front with 10mm (i think) spacers. Cheers Ando

Greg that bonnet looks scary! I was expecting it to fly up at any time
As we're on the subject of posting videos, here's a small clip from one of my laps at Easter, where the Scooby ended up damaging a few cars incase any of you wondered why it was closed for so long on Saturday. It happens just after the Karoussel. |
