I wanted to get some advice before I buy a Dremel. I assume it is the 4000 or a cordless 8200. Are there any better imitators about or is this about as good as it gets. I am going to use it to remove individual tiles from the shower cubicle as some have cracked and as the water is seeping in and so more expansion and cracking.
![]() It is driving me mad. I have other uses for it too so hopefully not a complete waste of money. Any comments from users - ? Pip |

Personally think Dremel worth the extra £, had mine now(not a 4000?) for over 15yrs - no problems - Fantastic
![]() ...you'll find yourself polishing and cutting things you didn't know you had - mine has helped rebuild a Norton Commando & 90% of a Westfield amongst other things ![]() Last edited by streightsix; 21-06-2013 at 12:38 PM. |

Cheers KarbonKid, it is probably a little more erganomic to use within the confines of a shower cubicle whether I am standing still/Stihl or not and even if on the phone

They're really handy for a spot of polishing on the oil filter housing and Vanos unit too...
