Hi Steve,
Make sure you have your snow tyres , weather changes quickly normally windy. The chicane can be straight lined if you take enough kerb on entry, couple of bumps at end of back straight good reference point for braking. Keep of kerbs when wet, but they do dry quick due to the wind. Good luck may have a trip to knockhill to watch |

Good luck Steve, it's a bloody long way, don't forget your passport.
The mx5 guys loved it bu suffered a larger number of engine failures than would be expected I guess due to oil issues at particular corners, but that will just be the mx5 How did it go at the first round? You didn't seem to be runnin much wing!

Cheers Mark, Thanks Derek and Shimmy,
Be good to see You Derek understand what your saying about the weather Shimmy if You look closely on the top of rear wing there is a slight addition reduces drag but increases downforce (Simpson's tip) Finished 1st in Na Class at Cadwell on a 1min 43.4sec not bad considering 1st dry laps were in qualifying (7 laps) which managed a 1min 45secs on lap 4, so knocked 1.6secs in the final, major problem is trying to get a clear lap between the other Competitor's, had a nissan 300zx 650bhp mega quick down straights but stitching me up round twisties lap 6 then backed off to get more gap then chequered flag was out Had more potential to go quicker was just getting used to grip level's around Coppice. Passed my ARDS test Saturday so will be caging later on in year when time attack season is over looking to do some Racing next year |

Is it still possible to go straightish through chicane? After the pit straight how does the car adapt to the drop/ camber change into seat curve's? Is under a minute possible on r888's, quickest I have managed is 59secs lap in 2006 in 400bhp escort cossie on Dj02's. Thanks again for insight |
