Default What a day....

After being rudely awakened by a scraping noise from outside this morning, someone who can't fookin drive has clipped my front drivers side wing and bumper!

I already knew I had a bad start as I was booked in at local Kwik-fit for new front PS2's as old ones were completely shot! Usual conversation, please take extra care with rims etc.I was reassured "Of course sir, that's what we do!"
45 mins later - WTF! near side rim fooked! A trainee had done my wheels and couldn't get the tyre off - slipped twice with tyre lever.......
The answer I got was "Oh it's just the lacquer sir!"

After a short while I regained my composure (bearing in mind Jay did the whole car including wheel refurb in Sept) I am awaiting an answer from the Area manager!

Fook sake mate, this doesn't make pleasant reading at all.

Hope you get it sorted soon, some photos aren't working. Well, for me anyway.

Feel for you.

I had similar damage done by 'Tyre Sales' to my previous car about two weeks after a wheel refurb. In the end I got all 4 re-done at their cost as the paint is never the same colour.

Of course they blamed the Pilot Sport tyre for being too stiff, and 'we don't normally do many of these line'.... tw@ts.

Gutted for you mate, some cock whacked the wing mirror off tghe Mrs Dad's Prius outside the house last night, not happy as the CSL was only feet away!!

Tyre changing is a pain in the arse, I am literally in the garage next to the machine when I get mine done but they don't mind as they know me through my Dad's garage, I'm bloody lucky and grateful for that, they are a good bunch of lads! Hope you get things sorted mate...

If they were not playing ball, I would have refused to pay for tyres until they sorted it.

Yes wheels can be damaged, but thats the risk they take and they should cough up for repair IMO straight away,

Hope you get sorted Roly

Sorry mate,

but thats what happens when you go to a faceless nationwide tyre fitter/rip off center.

if you had went to a smaller owner/operator type garage it would have been sorted on the spot.
