Right you guys it's time for those of you who have not yet booked on to my day at Silverstone on Sept 24th to pull your fingers out !
Seriously though, I hope you enjoyed Dave's day at Donington and want to bring the party to the 'Stone. Just in case you have been out of the country - have a look here http://www.cslregister.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8718 and apologies for hi-jacking this thread |

The blue Astra was nearly as bad as the blue VX turbo.
Neil in the Astra is on Openpitlane.co.uk and a few of us gave him some stick yesterday, including Jim. I posted the video of Mrks where he nearly chopped the porkers nose off at Sarkeys. And as Yanto said the mx5s were driven by corporates so separate guys in every car, all new to track. I have to say they got out of the way very well, but did find litter a few times. Don't know how cos those mx5 corner like on rails.

Sy, I've got video of him holding every fooker up. He's not a trackday newbie either. Just has VXR syndrome . Maybe he was pissed off because there wasn't a MaccyD's in the area

Great day that. Cheers to Shimmy, s.mac dave and all I met.
Thanks for not snap oversteering into me Shim I must apologise for having the muckiest csl there, Marks especially put mine to shame when parked next to. I really need to up my game in terms of track prep, I completely shagged the outside of my cups Does everyone here run with track camber? On standard sus? Ps: anyone got a used cup for sale? |

That was a great little run early in he day. I've got video nearly done and S.mac screaming "GO GO GO" just as I was trying to control the spin You need -3 at Donny really also if you drive too hard or long or at too high pressures and they overheat they will go off and wear out quicker as well.

I use the adjustable camber plates so have -2.5 for track, -1.5 for road. Prob take 10 min to switch between the settings. Is ok cheap mod for those wanting to keep standard suspension but no where near Intrax or whatever.
