Hello all. Sorry for late reply but seem to have much less time to get on here there days.
Great day.............once I got there. Pissed to miss the on Thursday night but as some of you know I had an amber engine light come on so stayed home to nip in and see Ant/Jules at Simpson MS in the morning. I changed all coil packs and lambda sensors only a few weeks ago thinking I was doing the right thing and one of the new lambda's played up! Got the old one back in while I helped Jules unload the transporter from there test day on Thursday and got on my way @10.45. Shimmy called me with Dunc woes, so I picked up a couple of spare lambda to bring with me. Great to see everyone again. Eventually got on track after lunch and enjoyed a few laps. Good fun with Shimmy and Dunc in horrendous traffic. Did my front pads by 4pm so changed them only to find a destroyed thread for the O/S front AP pad retaining bolt!So that was day over but managed to do a bodge repair (thanks for assistance Dunc ) to get me home fine. Best bit was Yanto watching me change the pads say "Ah, that's much easier than I thought". He wasn't saying that when I'd switched to the other side and discovered my issue! Cheers for laps Stu. That thing pulls like a train! Sorry not to meet all the new boys but I ran out of time only getting there @12pm. Have to meet Sy and everyone another time. And yes Sy, Lawsy does have one arm................................but it's a great big fuck off huge one and I reckon that counts as two, so lets call it even. Great laps by the way. I see you were on fire! I see Shim has already started to trawl through the data. He must be worried. As usual, good to see Shim, Dunc, Jim, Yanto, Barry, Stu, Mark, Derek, Brett and everyone else I haven't mentioned. Looking forward to the next one already. Oh and yes, my Intrax have 120/60's.
