Nige is a really nice guy - the Golf has had some serious hours put into it - apparently 300+bhp and sub 1000kg. I follow him for a while in my video above - then he lets me past but stays with me for the whole lap - he must have done 1000's of laps - he's always there when I'm there, lol

Nige took me for a lap in that golf back in 2010 (my first trip). Really nice guy.
That golfs been developed over the years into a real weapon.

Anyway, am definitely going next year. Went twice over the last 12 months in the CSL. Managed a total of 1 lap due to bad weather!

A bit of both - there is no doubt the 991 is a fair bit faster, but it was my 1st time on track in this car and it has no buckets/ harnesses. My 996 in comparison was a full on track focused car and I knew it inside out after 5.5 yrs.

Mods planned for the 991 to make more track focused

Terry, from experience that's going to be expensive!
