I think it looks bloody brilliant. It's been done properly as well, which counts for a hell of a lot IMO.

Not my words in the article unfortunately! Some people prefer smg some prefer manual it's personal choice I guess.

Having owned my CSL for over a year now, I find the SMG a bit anodyne on the road - its just not as an involving experience as a manual, but on the track (where the CSL belongs), it just comes into its own.

I think I'd love to be in the position of the OP - manual CSL for the road (manually heel and toeing must be an absolute joy), and the real thing for the track .
