Nope, won't be the guy who mapped it last time either.

Does he do home mapping ? wilst the car is sat at home in garage nice and warm ? I do a nice espresso , if not my wife has a Spa ( a complimentary chest wax might tempt him ? ) Eduardo. |

If it has logging in the dash or ECU the best bet may be to do it at a circuit and get feedback from you and the logs after each session and alter before sending you out, if it hasn't got logging then we can enable it. First step would be to look at some logs from your previous outing combined with a description of what is happening and under what conditions.
Failing that he'd travel up to a dyno near you.

The problem seems to be on the 1st 1/4 of the travel of the pedal, even on neutral. Like if somtething is clugged. The iddling is fine, it's just that 1st 1/4 quarter. Presume it's mapping. Thanks. Eduardo. |

The drewling bit is what made it for me. Took me one day to give an offer. Always a gamble when you don't get to drive the car but all seems to be going the right way surely when servicing and re-mapping is done Eduardo. |

The Golf was mental. The fastest thing i ever drove. But was lacking the garage WOW factor. Didn't want to look at it when wasn't driving it. My wife thought it was the "Inbetweeners" car and warned me to leave it in garage well hiden from neighbours. So told her i did a straight swap with BM with no money exchange First words were, that looks expensive , followed by "how many tyres do you need ? Only two sets of dry and one of wet with a quick shut down of the garage door and my favourite say " It's an investement Darling" "Trust me" Followed by her favourite say "Trust me there will be no happy ending with that story" So here i go again Eduardo. |
