Come now Matt, i thought you of all 'spotters' would know that one?

IIRC, Edge 'Sport' is generally used in turbo-charged cars.

DOH ! right over me head that one
Seriously though, how does it differ to the "Special M cars only" EDGE 10W60 ? and can this be used in the CSL ?
Surely if it's designed for high power TURBO cars producing very high internal temperatures, it should be perfectly fine for the CSL ? NO ?

According to the oil man,Edge Sport is not quite as good an oil as Edge and is cheaper to buy,but would be ok for a top up if you had no Edge.If BMW says use only Castrol Edge or Castrol TWS[same oil]then i think you should use it ,for the sake of a few quid more..Is that ok Matt.

Just order 12litres of the stuff for the next couple of services. With this weeks offer AND the CSLReg discount, it was almost working out BOGOF including delivery.

Should have done this BEFORE I ordered but, is 6 litres enough for an Oil Service...?
