hello gents

im keen as mustard to do this weekend but am a little swamped at the moment to look into booking hotels ect ect.....

iv done the route but if somone could sort a good place to stay on the friday, even if we stay in different hotels and meet in a pub for beers that night its not a big place !

lets get booked in where we can and let people know where we have booked on here ASAP

It will be a good weekend if we can get somthing sorted

Afternoon all.

Just wanted to let you know that I got back from my Wales road trip yesterday. Driving my CSL back-to-back with a mate's V12 Vantage was outrageous fun. We had someone else in the mix with a DBS at one point too. The CSL held its own but I am slightly in love with the Vantage.

I am not sure what direction you are all coming from and so what will be possible but it's definitely worth checking out the Black Mountain Pass if you're around the Brecon Beacons.

Also, the Horseshoe Pass is quite near the Evo Triangle. It isn't very long but is worth a look. Some of the other roads around the Evo triangle are quite fun too, around Denbigh, Ruthin, etc.

The A487 and A470 have some good sections as well heading north from Llandovery towards Aberystwyth.

Some of the A roads can get a bit congested so it's probably worth taking the occasional side road and hoping for the best.
