Gents,

Good idea getting to get a register of the cars together! If you make it exclusive though to paying members or people with a certain amount of posts then won't you miss out on info on cars owned by those that aren't posting all the time or are new to the forum?

Is the idea of this for the good of the CSL marque and to stop people in general getting ripped off or buying bad cars, or is it just a private thing for you guys that run the forum?

I see it as usefull and valuable info that will help any prospective purchaser of a CSL. I think to ask them to be a member to access it would be good for site upkeep and also keep it private from google searches. I don't think it should go on post count. It would also be another source for people to indroduce their car/s

It will also give us internet geeks something to do

It is realy interresting to see how different they came out.

we could print out all our different datas, but with 1400-1500 cars it will look like te yellow pages.

So I guess we can find out which number out of the total production a car is but not out of UK 422 the car is. From this mine seems to be one of the latter ones. Still a 53 though

Mine was built Dec03 and is a late JC98*** car i guess. How many were built as i guess that would tell us the past JC98*** car

July 03 for me, and an early one as it has 0 on the dash cluster for neutral rather than n.

Same here... mine's an early one with the '0' in the dash cluster for Neutral, instead of the 'N'

She's also a July '03 build car but on a '53 plate, the very first day of '53 registration, September the 1st

Mine must be very close to yours then Matt as I also have the '0' in the dash and no 'N', from memory mine has a build date of June 2003...

EDIT: Have just gone onto the DVLA system at work and checked my registration number and is says 'Date Registered 01/09/2003'!

Must be my CSLs first cousin, with extra Bling

(Xenons, PDC, etc )
They must have been bumper to bumper on the production line and UK Registered on the same bloody day too
