I don't know how it works, whether is any good and whether insurance companies honour these valuations Alternative is should be unlucky enough to claim to submit adverts of similar behicles to your and their prices I don't know whether many insurance companies just pay out the price of M3 CSL same as the market value of any other E46 M3 Coupe or not ? |

Rather than start a new thread, resurrecting this one...
Time for my renewal (oh joy). So; 30 years old 55,000 miles 54 plate Garaged in DT9 (Dorset) Increased the value from £28,000 to £34,000 Alcons Supersprint exhaust 4,000 miles pa (reduced from 5,000 miles last year). Self & 1 named driver (the old man) Quote of £534.71 from Pace Ward. Last year it was £653. Seems reasonable. Trackday cover has changed though; UK days - £98 per day European - £113 per day the Ring - On request. Closed days only. You need to know the dates and event organiser before they'll quote. Will get a couple of quote to compare and post them up for reference. Classic Line: £527.44 with a £350 excess. Trackdays on referral, but they say typically they'll cover 3 in the UK and a 'small' charge for Europe. Waiting for Need2Insure to give me a call back. With classicline, 650 p/a for a 32y.o. limited to 5000miles. Ended up with them as CCI booted all their under 35s last year.
Considering shifting to Equity Red Star, they are a similar price but have 5 trackdays included on a host of UK tracks and any FIA approved European track (Ring excluded). I use Need2Insure as a broker and have found them to be very helpful. |

'Competition Car Insurance' used to be the main insurer for the CSL until they stipulated over 35's only.

agreed value, 2000 miles per annum, locked garage etc.... AP BBK all round declared and has NO impact on policy as they see it as a good thing. changes to power and appearance do load up a policy. £150 per annum. I am 40 years old. live in Kent not London though. great company and great value.
