Petter Solberg was close to my top 5 + I've meet him & he's the most down to earth bloke in the sport

I've not had the pleasure of meeting Petter S. but he always comes accros as very down to earth and it's one of the reasons he's in my top 5

In the Senna film Senna refers to the english chap he used to race against that was the best person he had ever raced against. Although I cant remember the name I think he must me a top 5 contender.

I've not had the pleasure of meeting Petter S. but he always comes accros as very down to earth and it's one of the reasons he's in my top 5

Met P.Solberg at Wales rally GB. Waiting to do notes round the special stage in the millennium stadium Cardiff, he parked next to us and just came over and asked how we were getting on etc! Such a nice bloke

Also met Travis Pastrana chatting in the signing on que for half hour not knowing who he was until we left & he was swamped for autographs! Again very down to earth guy

Terry Fullerton ran a karting team & owned Fullerton Karts when I was in juniors. I just remember him as a rough looking dude that smoked 60 a day but I'm told in his day unreal in a kart!

Getting a mention from senna as the greatest driver he's raced against! I'd imagine that was a proud day for Fullerton

To be fair tho Shim P.Solberg is an incredible driver

To continue my stories... When I worked for Honda I won a sale competition in which top 20 salesman from each region went to Goodwood for the day driving everything from the honda hovercraft to the Nsx finishing with a dinner / evening at Goodwood house with eddie jordon, Murry walker & Dave Richards.

The winner (top salesman) got to sit next to Murry Walker (me) and I asked him who was his top driver of all time? He said Prost! Of course I put him straight and told him Senna was the man! Murry was a great bloke and didn't stop talking the whole evening
