As a daily 335d or indeed 535d is hard to beat.

I used to regularly take my old E92 335d over the Cat & Fiddle and around the EVO Triangle in the past. OK, it's not the last word in handling, but the shove you get coming out of corners is a good laugh and you could make fairly rapid progress in it

Plus, as Chris says, it does the daily commute brilliantly. An awful lot of crap in it that was unnecessary though, like automated arms to deliver the seatbelt to you

had those in the M3 and the seatbelt used to fall off the arm so many times
