Removed the 3 alacantara pads, rubbed down and primed with this, I used the black version, not the grey primer IIRC

Then from the same manufacture sprayed matt black with

Was thinking about doing the plastics on the rear seat uprights too, but I think the plastic section cant be separated from the alacantara parts.

It's been doen about 6 months and still looks good, seems to be hardwaring and doesn't scratch or flake off. Very happy with it and would do it again

I bought all the stuff from B & Q
Superb, might jus park this until I sell her (if it ever happens)

And just need to add

13. MSport thermostat
14. Oil cooler.

no mate...too much imo.

Though some subtle M livery would look good.

where do you guys go for full front end re-sprays & splitters refurb? It must be quite a delicate job considering the CF bumper and whatnot.

Not really

Any half decent body shop will do a good job. Nothing special about it.

True. I'm using my own booth but would recommend Simpson Motorsport to anyone else.

And so it begins.

Front AP's and Intrax on all corners are off the car and going in for refurb next week. Oh, and diff rebuild as well.

Organising schedule for paint to start in Feb.

Question: I have a spare genuine CSL front bumper, complete with top seal, grills, clips, etc. N/S damaged and repaired by Simpsons Motorsport. It's the original bumper from my car and been on my car for couple of years since repair. Good condition with usual stone chips, etc. What's the value? Considering selling if anyone is interested.
