No worries - i will just need to choose my TDs wisely

I'm bored of Castle Combe and i can live without Bedford - there are plenty of 100dB & 105dB days out there.

The Ring is pretty lenient most of the time

I cant say when I put a SS centre section on that the noise level increased, although I never had a meter to check ... I did think the drone increased at slow non accelerating speeds.
I think most of the noise comes from the backbox.
Im not even sure if decats increased the noise levels but just the tone to a more raspy sound although Dazza may be able to confirm, I might be slighty deaf

I have thought about the SS resonated one but for now the OEM is fine

It was def noisier without question, even the neighbours made comment and there used to the normal SS race on early start up

Default update

Just thought id chuck a update on the mounting solutions from yesterday as I know some of you have or are about to purchase new ones, and fit / re-fit looking at this thread now..

So main issue after having new rear rubbers on was the rear supersprint box was pulled up higher, probably down to the fact that the mounts were worn when it was first fitted, as not something that we all do when replacing the system.

Best / easiest way to get this dropped down just enough, is to remove all and re attach with some washers for spacing it lower on the underside, it now looks as it should.

On playing around yesterday also noted that my mid section mounts (the ones on the actual exhaust) has snapped on one side see pic, so had to spot weld this back together, and all sorted now, so just might be worth checking a few bits and bobs when doing the whole system

Good update Daz ... I did my mid section mounts few days ago and noticed the flanges on the mid exhaust were bent upwards therefore the mid section was hanging lower then it should be and banging on the rear suspension, especially when driving on bumpy roads. (mainly THANX to going through the Karussell 55 times few weeks ago) Now having fitted the new mid mounts (as per pic) and re bending the flanges to a fully horizontal position, has put a stop to all that banging.
