"Health & Safety" is to blame for that I guess . Over the years all cars have grown in size and inevitably put on weight however they have also increased in power . I know it would be NICE to have a 1000 kg CSL like the original E30 m3 but with the "safety in mind" way the E46 is constructed, it's going to be hard work to achieve that for a "Fast Road/Track" M3 CSL. Yeh weighing a small 108kg myself makes all my weight saving worthless.
