Epic car you have built! Brutal acceleration absolutely loved it In regards to the slicks any reason you run different front to rear or that just what you had or could get? I will be getting a set of michelins for later this year any suggestions on what compound to get? Great great car! |

The 265 Pirelli tires I have in front are the widest that fit. Michelin only have 25/64-18 and 27/65-18. 270 are too wide for my setup. Michelin medium compound are great. Good grip and lasts a bit longer then softs. |

Great info thanks... so you would pick the Michelins over the pirelli if you could fit them on the front and back? i have been looking at the 27/65-18 S8H MEDIUM but it says thats for an 11 inch rim i run 10x18 square on the E92 you think that should be ok? DN are only doing 2 single days and one double at the end of September will you wait for the September date to return? |

I use the 27/65-18 on a 10'' rim without a problem. So if you can fit them on your front without rubbing you're golden. S8H is a great compound. I haven't decided what trackday I will run yet. I'm dreaming of one lap without any traffic and aim for a 7:15 sport auto lap this year. Allthough I love the DN trackdays, I think my best bet will be if Getspeed has a similar trackday as they had last year, with a very limited number of racecars allowed. But as I said, I haven't decided yet... |

Mike the E90 M3 was a Toyota test driver but the E92 M3 was a mortal like you and me. very little info I'm afraid other than his E92 M3 was an awesome sight, moonwalk grey body(battleship grey) with the cf roof, fully prep'd track car as you'd expect...but still road legal. i'll ask me lad if he took any pics. |
