V70s aren't normal road tyres, they are Khumo's equivalent to Cups (and they're the absolute dog's danglies). Terrible in the wet, but amazing in the dry (as well as being available in different compounds). Shame they don't do 19s .

Surely a wing in direct line of the airflow would give best downforce/extra area? We all know the impact a well applied wing can have on somewhere like CRANERS but I'm not sure you'd ever get the same benefit form a boot spoiler, no matter how big it was........but can't wait to see the end effect

Cups do 19s, why would you want V70? cups max recommended camber is -3.5 deg, no road tyres are built for big neg camber. Pyro tests I've done on my CSL showed what optimum camber was effective on my CSL at Snett.

I've yet to experience Cups (whilst driving), so I can only comment on things I have real world experience of .
Obviously you don't corner as hard as Al (and neither do I, as I only run mine at 3° on the front and 2¾° on the rear of my Escort .).

I run a 250 wide front on a 10" wheel, not got set up sheet here but somewhere between 4 and 4.5 degrees from memory, genuinely surprised that you'd need 4 degrees on a road tyre, which are all shit anyway

I've had two sets of V70 - better Han ToyoR888 on 1400kg cars but nowhere near the dry grip of Cups.

It probably isn't ideal to run 4 degrees, but to clear the arches with the current wheel setup I do have to, plus it's the original camber numbers Schirmer put on the car, and the turn in was awesome.
But however you look at it, it does work pretty well for my limited skills and budget! And hey, still lots of development to do!

Now I'm thinking something more along the lines of the ill fated GTR "a street car for the track" civilised yet purposeful? Variation on a theme?
