I've no plans to track the 1M whilst I have the GT3 and don't have trackday friendly insurance for it either

My m8 has a 1M we went for a blast in it the other day and went over a speed bump quite quickly

5min later all the dash lights were flashing and it was telling me to call BMW

Bmw sent there man out to have a look pluged in the computer and said its fooked went to the back and had a look then removed a panel and a river run out the back of the car

Turns out it has a water leak and they are now changing the wire harness
and the main ECU units they will have it for at least a week.

Check in the boot of your 1M his has only done 2000 miles

Not the best looking car from the front In my eyes but looks cool from the rear with its big arches.

Jump in and close the door its cool with all the alcontara and the seats are great for every day use but not as hugging as the CSL seat.
You can get 4 adults in the car as there is room in the back.

Start it up what a burble it has on tickover sounds great but it is mouse quiet
when you drive it up the road, It pulls strong with no hint of it being a turbo
the suspension is stiff but not as hard as the csl.

The steering feels good and sharp.

Would i buy one Yes
Would i pick it over the CSL No

Its a great little car but it does not have the special fealing the CSL gives you

Just my 2p worth

I do like the look of them. Wouldn't be a car I would buy & certainly wouldn't chop the CSL in for one but I am a fan
