+1 vreds are shite. Stay away. Sidewalls too soft. Felt like car was wobbling about on them unless pressures set really high. Not too bad in wet though. Had them on normal e46 m3

Another shout here for the FK452's. When I was using the CSL every other day, I had these on it and couldn't fault them. On track, they did go off after 4-5 laps of Knockhill though, but on the road they were spot on in every condition other than snow! They wore very well too and STILL have the fronts sat in the garage which reminds me I should punt them when I get home to make some space.

If I was choosing now for an every day tyre though, I'd go for the Michelins. Then again, I've got Conti's on the E90 and they're not half bad either.

Think that might just be a feature of crappy RFTs though Chris, had the same problem with various Bridgestone Potenzas on my old 335d

I've got ContiSports on the back of the CSL, and on the Alpina, and they're pretty good. However the CSL ones are definitely getting changed for SuperSports all round next time, as everyone I talk to seems to reckon they're the best road tyre out there

Well I definitely prefer swearing by tyres than swearing at them Shim Think a set might be required for the trip to Munich next year
