Got to say Matt mine was also spot on, really nice job and still looks new at just over a year old. I regularly stick it over the pit for inspection (force of habit).
Did Cambridge not send their floor repairs to Bedford? Pretty sure that's what I was told when my process kicked off. Its where I was supposed to be done but they were about 6 months behind so I was re booked at Stanstead. |

Elms sent mine to Hitchin. Looked a good job when they had finished. Showed me under the car, inside and the cracked section they had cut out. They also sent me photos. That was just over a year ago. Will get Gareth to check it out when it goes in for it's annual oil change.
They also changed front & rear bushes at the same time. ![]() |

Not good with the boot floor from the OP, I'd be surprised if Elms didn't put it right for you. |

BMW in Scotland quoted £4,440.05 to put it right, that includes dropping the running gear, cleaning and resealing the entire boot floor inside and out. I have passed that quote to Bedford and await their comments on Tuesday. The technical manager for BMW Scotland and Ireland is also coming to look at the sub-standard repair. Its getting fixed regardless, just interested to see if Elms are going to take ownership.... Last edited by mistergav; 03-04-2015 at 11:10 AM. |

They only charged me for the parts, which, I thought was a good deal.

Mine was done @ Bedford in July 2013
Really pleased with the job However I haven't checked the boot since. After reading the thread I don't want to!!! Inspection 2 coming up in a week or so. Sir Gareth of Bartlettshire will have a shufty. |

Sounds like Elms are willing to pay for the boot floor to be fixed properly. Good news but I would be happier if it was perfect first time round. Also, it wasn't outsourced.
