Some recent adds/sales: The Manor Garage, 03, SG, 116,000, ? Owners, £22,995 was £24,995 Wiltshire Older adds: 600 WHM, SG, (03) 107,000, 2 Owners, £19,995 I bought the SG CSL from Nathan who bought it from Manor Garage. it has 112k miles and I got it just sub of £20k. steal really as Nathan wanted out of it quick as had a 996 GT2 on the way. has AP BBK all round in red, new RS29s all round, 100 cell milltek CATs, Cups, inspection 2 had just been done so over 14k left to next one. had had the front end re sprayed too which had tidied it up. few interior bits and other things like the rear box swapped but now where I want it. I would say easy 20-21k for yours shimmy on the market now. I would sell the uprated bits for more gain if you have all the standard bits to hand to swap back.

Just pure cash needed, with the new business cashflow is king and as we enter the next tax year I'm wondering if I ought to free this cash up ready as we are planning on expanding.
Can't really be bothered with returning it to standard so wondering if I sell it and advertise it as a track car with everything included. Not normaly the best return but as a high miler it might attract a certain type over the summer, as it's set up well for the track or Ring. Especially with new engine, vanos, gearbox, diff, SMg pump over the years. Just wondering really, not made my mind up yet.

Me thinks you need to revise your business plan. What's another £25 - 30k in repayments? You will regret selling the old girl & we will miss your wit.

well, as a business person, I'd say business first. Toys can come when you make more $$$.
Best of luck with the sale. With a new engine, I don't see you having too much issue is unloading it. If I spent any prolonged time in the UK I would buy it from you in a heart beat as I would really dig a track weapon I could lug to the Ring and Spa that has had most of the goodies done for me. (less headache).

My outlook on life has changed in the last few years due to friends dying young.
So whatever you decide to do go for it & I wish you all the best & hope you have fun doing it. |
