Yep one of mine was knackered. I bought two from BMW at around £100 each. I only replaced the knackered one and keep the other side for when that one gives up.

Did your mate have to reset / reconfigure the software to recognise it like he did mine, or did the lights go off by themselves ?

Mike he cleared all the faults and put out the lights but I had about 1/2 a dozen different ones illuminated. Didn't take the same length of time as yours that's for sure. I seem to remember him saying your car was not recognising the sensor its self so that was causing an issue.

call it Khama, but had this light come up today (just yellow brake light, this is image from google)

Any guesses before I gets it fault code read on Monday?

Yep gonna check fluid and check callipers for any weaping nipples.

Can the rear handbrake stick or could the disconnected pad sensors trigger this?

Think the switch is on the handbrake itself rather than at the back so the mechanism sticking wouldn't cause the light?

Check pad sensors haven't come loose and been ripped off \ damaged too (assuming you run them zip tied to the struts?).

What I was thinking as both shocks were removed this week.

Cool, you running on my spare set at moment then?

Can't wait to see what the 4 ways are like, gonna be difficult to know what has made the different though!
