997 GTS - great combination of price/performance and reasonable residuals although perhaps a little bland if you're after something more exciting?
997 Turbo values becoming very attractive but many of them around. CLK black sounds cool

I would go for the R8 Spyder as it is a convertible and so a fair bit different to the CSL, or a 997 turbo as they are different by being much quicker in a straight line. Not a 997 turbo convertible though, unless of course you are gay, in which case you can kill two birds with one stone.

What about a Bently GT? Better to cruise around in than you would imagine.

The 997 GTS sounds really good, a bargain and a nice way to invest in something not so rare but quite special!

There's only two of you, weekender car, not used much and not taken on track? Gallardo all the way, in BLACK. No contest. After that, 997 GTS (although you'd regret not saving up and spanking into a GT3, given the appreciation).
I have a stage 4 GTR and it's great as a road car but has zero class. It also manages almost 6mpg at the Ring. I miss my CSL. |
