Hi,

Nathan- out of interest what is
your objective Target Gross weight ?

If you'd rather not post, I understand.

Or in your series is G/W weight dictated
by CLASS, engine HP ?

I do not think its possible to
get under 1150kgs without
spending a small fortune of
Ti components.

The Schnizter Factory ALMS GTR Cars with
P40/Hewland 6 speed Manual box,
hit 1150 kgs GW, and they did not
run ABS, nor a rear subframe, and had
Ti RTArms, side exhaust straight out,
and were then ballasted back
up to the series 1250 kg's.

Are you aiming in that sort of Ball Park ?

Regards,

The Gorilla.

1200 will keep me very happy, not sure how realistic that is, it was 1260 with SMG box, standard loom and electrics etc, Drenth saves a fair chunk over SMG, likewise flywheel will save some weight, 23KG of wiring came out which we can save a lot of going back in, few areas where there are more savings to be had but I don't have the budget to go mental.

Hi,

Circa 1200 Kg's is very good,
and does improve the weight
transfer under load to the point
where you can start going lighter on
the damper valving / spring rates,
and fine tune suspension with the ARB's etc.

Watching with great interest.

Regards,

The Gorilla.
