Buy BMW ones, cut and weld them

Or

Peugeot size clamps just work.

I have asked the engineer. his eyes rolled back and he asked me why the hell I had posted

I can't remember what I paid for the OEM BMW ones but I can find out, at a guess £15 ish?? I really cant remember.

Only one side on the centre pipe needs doing and I think, both sides on the back box side.

I only needed one of the 4 pipes doing, I put an after market box on and it had 2 good stainless steel clamps on.

OEM system- I think you would need 6 clamps to make 3 sides (if they all all rusty), 1/2 is thrown away in the process, that is just the way it's done.

I tried to get one clamp wired so there was no wastage, but it cost too much....I think no one was prepared to do it for the numbers I was asking for.

Each cut would be £10 (to the engineer)

cheap enough for me, for one complete unit, but may put people off, but way cheaper than stainless steel ones (that is if you can get them)

OEM clamp costs, plus delivery, plus £60 to engineer if all 3 required.

I need to check an OEM back box, you may only need 4 clamps and 4 cuts? 2 clamps may slip on.

confused, I am

I might get the price down, if there are a few for him to do. I would only do on a one hit basis, with money up front.

If people are interested, I could put something in group buys for a set period, with pictures of what you get.

I hate group buys
