I'm not sure what ONeills weights are as the site doesn't open on the iPad, but my Volks are I think 8.2 and 8.7 kg (front/rear) and 18x9.5J et 37 and 15.

Don't forget to add the weight of the spacers and extra long bolts on to the rim weight

But as ONeill knows it is not just weight but stiffnes that makes all the difference. Finding a light rim that can cope (ie not flex) with 1500kg isn't easy.

So the equivalent Apex rims would be 9.8kg each roughly.
These wheels look very appealing and i would be interested in a group buy too......

When comparing to OeM 19 rims, you have to remember 265/35/18 yes are 0.5kg heavier than 265/30/19 tyres as well.

Looking at the EC-7 for next year with slicks, will the 9.5 x 18 ET35 and 10 x 18 ET25 fit okay without spacers, shod with Michelin 25/64-18 and 27/65-18 does anyone see any problems

you may need a small spacer on the front depending on the tyre shape, and rears even may benefit from 10mm as well.

and a cage if course!

Shimmy when you ran Nitron with your wheels, how much clearance did you have from the spring with a 3mm spacer.

Would 2mm more have worked.

Link above are the OEM CSL wheel weights, didn't think they were that heavy.

The EC-7 18x9 et31 are 9.64kg/21.25lb.

Jim' £900 with discount and postage discount. Then I have to wait and see for UK tax/duty
