35MPG That’s impressive, the most I every say on my E46 was 31, no matter how many hills I coasted down.

The MRS didn’t like the aggressive gear changes of the SMG, but thought it was a comfy car.

The EVO 6 I once had, that was a different matter, that did not like any bump or stone in the road.

The 996 is surprisingly stiff, and with having a large roof panel and a glass rear hatch it makes a good few noises, you just have to modify your driving to allow the exhaust note to drown it all out.

Welcome to the Forum John, good luck in finding the right car.

I have seen 30+MPG on the computer but how true that is, I don't know. And I don't want to even think how low I've seen it, but that's on track or when 'on one'

My Wife loves being in the CSL, doesn't enjoy driving it so much but likes being in the Passenger side. I've never heard a complaint about the seats but she's definitely no chunker, so maybe that's it Shim'.
