I've stop counting after my 10th MK2 (most of them 16V KRs ) Not had any G60 but came very close to owning a MK2 Rally until a pre purchase HPi check revealed a stolen VAG
My current 16V KR is Helios Blue and the car is totally O.E. now after two years of tinkering, including resorting back to O.E. ride height and fully working A/C system

I'm not sure I could go back to one now though as any more than a track/show car
BTW that's a very tidy 1.8 T conversion

Pic below of my previous MK2 GTi 16V KR (also Helios Blue) owned & used back in 2006 as my Ring learner tool 120 Ring laps that year and it didn't miss a beat
Right, enough of this GOLF talk or we'll get a for VAG overload and I'll get the bollocking for picture whoring... again

How low was I

They are awesome car's but very underpowered - exceedingly boring in standard form... but stripped out with around 250bhp they are a different car all together

Mine was mint, had all the options including the uber rare Recaro's...

Cheers, it was my 4th one and the first was nowhere near as tidy

Love the racer - they do take endless amounts of abuse, I did 2 student gumballs and 30,000 miles in my first 16v Mk2 'the beast' and didn't even do an oil change they go on forever and ever!
