![]() Key is to eat light as well, a burger and chips followed by a 20 min stint in race gear in a very hot car will leave you going for a stroll so that you dont throw up in front of your team mates ![]() |

And I used to moan wearing a leather Power Ranger suit racing bikes, I reckon this will be worse
![]() ![]() ![]() At least with my bike racing helmet (Arai RX7) I could whip the whole lining out (on studs) to dry it between stints. No such luck with my Arai GP6 ![]() |

In the 24hr I did a 4hr stint in the car, I drank 2 litres from my water bottle feeder in the car and still didn't actually go for a piss for nearly 2 hrs later. Its not to be under estimated really.
Stand 21 are doing a suit deal for us for registered competitors, made to measure suits, will send an email out about it asap. |

I've got a stand21 suit - they really are lovely, good work John.
PS. 4hour stint = good fuel economy!

![]() Errr, that is not right Mr Thorn! 3 Hours in one go is the maximum you can do. Timing screens flag up those that haven't pitted for 180 minutes and blag flag ensues. Still, 3 hours is still impressive. ![]() I managed a 2,50 stint in Henk's E46 compact M3GTR flat out! Was a good stint. Same race I managed a 2,55 stint behind the safety car in fog. That was a low point in my racing life!

Yeah techincally 3hrs is max, however I spent 2 stints behind the safety car for 48 mins and 12 mins in pitlane while we tried to fix the front splitter and the rest mapping round in 4th gear.
