That's fair enough then mate, are the SMG updates covered under warranty?

I know my mate is paying around £75 exc VAT for some to be done on his M3 Cab!?

Congrats Painful bill but one worth doing. Don't do too many launch controls as BMW has a way of finding out how many you've done and may refuse Warranty work on a new clutch.

Yeah I was only kidding Matt but I will give it a go just once! lol My car has a nearly new diff in it so now has got to be the time to try!

Reprograming the smg is not coverd under warranty,according to Andy,but the warranty will ask them to try this first,cost is about 60quid.Probably a waste of 60quid but should be worth in the long run.

Bounce, let me know how you get on at murketts and if its worth the trip, looking to take mine there for insII when due as not impressed with Ocean. Cheers.

If i renew my warranty, i may take mine there too as they have a good rep on here at least.
