In that video they could have simply slid the lid off rather than pry it up. |

Could that be that's because the one coming it is optional "Carbon filter" as the guy in the vid calls it, so it filters out more shit?

Dropped the car off today and was gob smacked, the guy behind the service desk knew what I was talking about when I went through my problems. None of the normal shit, these cars are bullet proof but we will have a look....
It was, yes we have had that before and that is a common fault, we will sort that. With one fault he said they could look at altering a setting to see if it worked and if not I could get it back to them. I said I couldn't risk that as I didn't want the fault to re occur on my driver training day at Spa and the ring to which I was told, don't worry we will strip it down and change the parts if it does look iffy rather than just adjusting. If the techs carry out what the front desk started it will be a trip I will be making in the future They mentioned a CSL in the back with a cage, I said I thought it was Duncans sorry Duncan I didnt actually see it |

Sounds good mate, the more I hear about them the more I'm thinking of making the journey when my next service is due, might stay up there as well if they've got a courtesy car as mine is due an Inspection II next so I think they'll need it overnight?

They do courtesy cars, its a busy dealership by the look of it. I left it with them and in no rush to pick it up, I will just jump on a train to pick it up

I'd like to drop it up there one day, leave it overnight so they can do the Inspection II then collect it next day, it's too long a drive from Dorset to Cambridgeshire to do it there and back twice! lol
Anyone know Murkett's price for Inspection II?

should be about £750...
they would need it overnight i think for checking/adjusting the valve clearance. it's worth going a bit further to a recommended dealer. i took mine to sytner chigwell for a spec II and it had a spec I at murketts, i wouldn't take it anywhere else now, its a bit of a treck from from purley in surrey but worth it |
