I'm going to have a go myself, I've filled the yellow AP writing with plastercine and used a craft blade to get the excess off, I'll paint the rest Black again or Silver, not sure yet. If it all goes wrong I'll send them down to be done properly in the New Year ...... |

These brakes have been a nightmare since July . I bought them 2nd hand off pistonheads, the guy was also on M3 cutters so I thought the description would be a fare account as forum guys are normally down the line and pretty straight. The PF disks and AP bells that were with the kit were totally f__cked and needed replacing (attempted group buy). I sent the callipers to AP and 2 others who wouldn't service them, they said they were beyond repair. I managed to get a guy in motor racing to service them who has done a great job. I didn't even notice the paint when I got them due to the brake dust build up. These things have cost me a fortune and and the best thing is Ive got a good BBK, but thought I would have a go at the AP kit The guy said he would help with the cost but he seems to have vanished for now, I can wait The pic is off the rear the fronts are worse and the Yellow R has dropped of the racing bit on one of the callipers, thses brakes were abused without the servicing they need. I know they are OK now and its only the paint that needs sorting... but what a f__cking nightmare, not to mention the £££ Thanks ____ from Aberdeen |

Brakes
Hi fella
I used bigred.co.uk to re-con the calipers on my three door and they done a fab job. What they give you is an option of caliper finishes, the best being the dark grey teflon coating, which is baked on & looks great. Maybe worth giving them a call |
