I would think that motor is just phenomenal in the E46. While not quite as exotic, would love to have a go in one of the Hartge V8s too:

Me too mate Very rare beast that E46 Hartge V8 Is the V8 out of the E39 M5 by any chance ?

Obviously BMW Motorsport knew about the weak rear end in 2001 .. funny how they didn't tell anyone in production about it



Is it just me or do those front guards look slightly wider??

Well, maybe they did and BMW decided to do nothing about it?

Also i wonder how you were supposed to lift the trunk carpet up with that brace.
