If I were you I'd ask the Scottish dealer to have a look inside all the rear boot cavities with a video inspection scope for any rust eating it's way from inside out, considering the amount of surface rust you have now. If any cavity rust is found I would insist on Elms Bedford having to do this job all over again, to a much higher standard.

Elms were doing a lot of boot floors about 2 years ago,I bet they subbed to work out to another body shop
