I just checked mine and I don't think you can modify them. I saw inside the 2 adjustment points, but nothing to push or pull...
Are there any pics of this "little white stalk" ? It is in the middle of the unit ? But what to push or pull ? Here more info: http://www.mtorque.co.uk/ubbthreads/...rue#Post664319 and here: http://www.mtorque.co.uk/ubbthreads/...531#Post506531 But they are all for xenons... and they set the whole line flat, don't even know if this is OK for the belgian MOT ... normally if you look at it, the right side is going up on a UK car and the left side is going up on a European car. Right and left flat will be ok for a short stay not to blind people, but to register a car on the continent, I don't know ??!! |

PS This change on the xenons only kills the 'kickup' on the left hand side (to illuminate the hedgerows in the UK), by altering UK xenons it turns dip into a flat beam however they were good enough for dipped headlights... |

I am curious, a mate also bought a CSL in the UK, and his one has the xenons... I hope for him he can modify them for our anual MOT, else it will be expensive to get new ones.

i have these white knobs on my xenon.
i'have just receive a letter from BMW (france) following my asking about the french certificate......they need a specific letter from a bmw dealer saying the lights have been changed and are okay for the continent....so i have to visit my local dealer, to have this certificate and explain them i'have done this simple modification (no need to change the units) |

Can somebody help me .
Today i went to 2 dealers in belgium and asked them to adjust the headlights and they did not have a clue how to do this . The manual says that it is possible with xenon lights and you have to go to the the dealer . I showed them the white stick that you have to pull/push but they said it doesn't work ..... Can somebody give me the correct details on how to adjust them . Thanks .
