GTR does drive itself most of the time, and my sense is that it takes crazy commitment on track to get the most out of it. You've got to switch the stability off and get comfortable with the car moving around beneath you at speed. I don't have the balls for that. CSL murders it for emotion, driver involvement, balance, character and class. However... ...if you drive the GTR and hop back into the CSL, it feels as slow as a 1.2 Fiesta. The turbo boost and the effortless acceleration is pretty addictive. On another note, was at Spa earlier this week. Good to see a couple of CSLs even though the weather was crap. But driving the mx5 though me anybody can drive a new faster car faster than their last car, but who can drive the car they have as fast as it can go.
