Can this new additives make a car run lean you think? Or was it coincidence?

Thanks,

Eduardo.
Likely coincidence

Maybe they are wanting to reign their cars in slightly as a precaution. Might have nothing to with fuel.

I've only seem incomplete data from one car matey so not in a position to say on way or the other, will make a point of noting fuel used over the next few weeks when doing support and looking at Lambda values compared with previous sessions to see if there is a pattern.

Maybe because the fuel is Better its not retarding ignition and this is causing them to run to full potential of the map which is taking fuelling out at higher rpm.

Although running race fuel as an example on a non race fuel map should be safer?

I've been running he new shell stuff for about 1300 miles since leaving Ireland on this trip and had no problems. I have noticed though that the oil reading has gone from 0.8l, 0.7l to 0.5l now. I have oil with me but I've never had to out oil in between services before, why now?

Kinda worried what it might be, will keep an eye on it of course.

I only ever use V-power in all my cars and as per this post:
http://www.cslregister.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10384

The engine emissions light has come on. I'm waiting until I can get it to Gareth for a proper diagnosis.

Hopefully coincidence?

Oh well. No V power nitro for me but you are ok on Road cars.

Something to do with the knocking sensors on race engines compare to road cars.

Didn't take it all in but it damaged two of his race cars with a bill of 5 K for one of them. So 97 for me with Octane booster.

Terry tried to have a word with Shell but not much chance.
