Next thing a woman in an old Volvo estate just pushes this nearly new Merc about a foot up the road. Parks up, walks off as if it was fine. I started shitting it then because my hire car was parked on the road outside our hotel. But Germany and the ring especially, I have never felt so safe with my car. Petrol heads with the same way of thought. |

That's excellent
I can see the street if I am looking by the windows of my office. One day I was on phone, looking downstairs while speaking. My new 207 (it was 5 years ago ) was parked in front of me and nobody was in front. It was possible to park 2 cars. An old man came, adjusted his maneuver to park, took some speed and .... gazzzzzz : BOOM . My car made at least 3 meters back by herself (I did not pulled very much the parking brake...it was well seen !). I went on the street immediately to stop the guy. Fortunately, the car was ... 100% OK. I checked the A/C ventilator but OK also. But, do not worry, I never get the same story again. To be serious, I think it is the same thing in all big city in the world. |
