Alex i think the best way is to laminate the original part and it will keep the cost down as its less carbon or you could make it in fiberglass with a coat of carbon might look into this i have not given up on the mold just yet

This was my latest carbon mod I bought an old set of trims that were scratched 5 days later i have these not to every ones taste i am sure
but i think they are sexy in carbon

Thanks Craig yes its easy to give it a clear coat if it get marked
The carbon was tricky to do with the badge and the button but hay ho its done now
