17k miles well done, practically as new. Now she needs to be broken in.

Have fun, these cars are amazing.

I would put a BMW warranty on it if its not got one though.

Congrats

I had the same problem. Looks like it can vary between of full the tank is and what fuel you put too ???

Lots of sensitive sensors on that car i think.

yes it came on when the tank got low!

so proably that. il give it a flush tonight.


what to people think of the RAC warranty??

130 a year for 2000 pay out.

i think thats brilliant. BMW wrranty i know is fantastic but i find it hard to swallow

For a car with only 17K miles on it, I wouldn't second thought putting a BMW Warranty on it. £80 a month for what can be £1000's of pounds in repair bills is very little and you've got a LONG way to go before you move up to the 60K-100K mile bracket Warranty so get it bought mate. £80 a month for piece of mind if nothing else is worth it IMHO.

if you have no joy with the light give darren woods a call they are over at bredbury i take mine to them for non warranty work both 18 years bmw experience and know m3`s inside out phone no 0161 425 7403. might be worth getting them to give the car a once over then decide on which warranty to take out this is what i did when i bought mine and found out the diff needed replacing.
