Fitted shortly after I posted in 2018. The car still hasn’t been anywhere near a track and it hasn't’ even been out in the rain either.

Not really much to go on! As a road tyre in the dry they have been absolutely fine and are obviously on the sticky side. To be honest, the main reason that I fitted them was because Cups (admittedly the originals) are a big part of the CSL legend.

Have noticed they now do a Cup 2 R. Would be good to see how they compare.

Cup 2s are brilliant on track, you can really throw the car around

My car currently has MPSS fitted, manufacture date Nov 2010... They were feeling a bit wooden, and now one of the rears has a nail in, so it's a good excuse to replace the whole set.

My car is fair weather road use only and only does max of 2K miles a year. So I could just put Cup 2s on it. Looks like I can get a set fitted for £800-850 at Costco this month which seems decent value.

The other obvious choice would be the Pilot Sport 4S, but the rear fitment in 265/30 seems to be unavailable at the moment.

What do you reckon guys ? Are there any downsides to the Cup 2 as a road tyre for fine weather use ?

I’ve got them on at the moment , seem fine obviously I don’t think they will last as long as s4 But if your only doing a few miles a year why not. Seems a great price,,
