Glad I dropped into croft too

Good to put some faces to usernames on Saturday too. Pity about crappy weather.
Special thanks to Duncan for some very wet pax laps.

I was under instruction from Phil House. My first time there but really liked the place, great club drivers circuit.

Will post the 1m 42s WET lap of myself and Lawsy, with Lawsy doing some showboating later .... keep him guessing !

Great lap Dunc.

I reckon my best was a 1.38 in the morning, it looked I was the 3rd car ahead of you in that vid, in front of Will getting chased by the caterham thing. Tyres where bollocksed in the afternoon. In morning I could take the back section flat out, but in afternoon it felt like I was floating through the corners, so had to be very careful. Your Adam will tell you what it felt like.

I must be getting sensible in my old age, I stopped when the rain started, not like me

I must admit, it was a great relaxed day, one of the most enjoyable days I have done.

Nice vid dunc, but your braking to early and coasting into turn1 and tower, good line through jim Clark but you need to on the gas by the first curb there, and get that noggin turned at sunny in so you get on the gas earlier at sunny out.

Not sure John, We were pretty close, his car is far quicker for sure, but not sure he was 100% on it. One thing I was surprised with about the E92 was how much more power it had than the CSL. Obv not as good through the twisties, but held its own ok. But out the slow stuff it was animalistic.

The car felt great early on, only towards dinner when the tyres started going did it feel funny, very floaty through the esses. After dinner was ok for a few laps then floatiness back again.

It would be fine for a "hobbyist" trackdayer, but with me pushing quite hard, a set of tyres per trackday is too much

The brakes held up pretty well.

Early days with the 265 set up, but first impressions were very good, handled really well, but Cupos were brand new, and they always work well new, so will wait and see, throw the fronts to the back for next time, then check wear across face, I need to add some front toe in though imho, to stop those inner edges scrubbing out too early, turns in well, but its killing tyres !

Cheers mate, I will add that to my notes, I appreciate it. Im aware that Im too early on the brakes sometimes, driving it like a road car instead of using the massive stopping potential I have with the PF and AP set up, I shall need to take time to test that out and become one of the late brakers ! Thanks for input Curly !
