I realise this won't make me particularly popular but the 'humour' in this forum is embarrassing.
Does every thread have to degenerate into the same childish, homophobic, smiley spattered crap?

I'm as up for a laugh as the next guy but this is real brain-out stuff and can be quite off-putting to newbies.

ahtim - you might get a better response in the technical section.
