Hi Al

Lee here, Neil's brother (who has your old MX5). I hear you bought daniels' car ? Small world....

I run 265/35/18 all round also on an ET30. There's not much clearance between coilover and tyre (but still, its clearance!) and on turning you can see there's not much more to be had between tyre and arch.

I'd have to say no, not without body mods. I've got 285 on the evo and thats not a tyre you really want at the front!

Cheers for the info chaps.

In the end, we did look at the 285 - and the width was prohibitive on the front - but would have been fine on the back.

In the end, I kept it 265/35 all round - and pushed the front camber upto 3.5 degrees and absolutely no clearance issues at all, so all good.

In other news, still can't recommend the Federal RS-R's enough for an all round tyre!

P.S - Hey Lee :D
