BMW Warranty **UPDATE**

Not wanting to hijack Helli2020's thread (http://www.cslregister.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1005) any further than it is........

Nathan posted that you can get a BMW warranty on any BMW so long as it has a full BMW service history, even if the car comes form an independant.

Is this right?

just renewed mine on line not 2 mins ago

my letter from BMW says

"your BMW Insured Warranty is only availiable for purchase unitil 10 Dec 2008. after this date you will not be able to purchase a BMW insured Warranty, so please don't delay"

so i guess not

Ah so that looks like it clears it up........no warrenty for me then.

Yep, once the warranty lapses it cannot be renewed with BMW.

I've still got mine so should be some comfort to the next buyer, when it goes up for sale.

Mits you are infact wrong on this. Once the BMW warranty has lapsed it is now possible to renew with BMW.

Anyone got a number for BMW customer services at Bracknel? I'll ring them tomorrow and find out!!!
