Clunky noise from rear

we had mine on the floor over a pit on a 4 poster and a 2 poster nothing massive levers, people in the boot you name it all looked fine then drive out the garage and clunk

in the end i decided to strip off every joint and inspect them 1 at a time luckily it was the second one i came to as soon as one end is loose it is obvious and the clunk is exactly the same metallic 1 way clunk you get when you driving on mine it was the passenger side not sure if it wears more that side but you want to get both checked really

UPDATE

Dealer called this morning. They've heard back from BMW (Puma?) and they said there was a modified wishbone introduced a while back to solve this suspension knocking.

Will my allignment/geometry need doing when they put this part on? Just I might put my KWs on this week and get them to do it after, as the 'bones wont be in til next week.

yes it will mate as there is an eccentric washer at the stub axle end

What dealer are you using, im up in Perth and the mechanics are good at grassicks couple of them run m3's
